I don't have the FP Safe Voyage but I do have the Britax Roundabout. I do know that Britax teamed up with FP to make this carseat affordable but also have some of the safety and reputable features that Britax is known for. I would go to consumer reports and see if any tests have been done. If the pros and cons come to be aabout the same than opt for the FP because you will be saving money. The price difference could be the material its made from and the quality and design of the carseat covers. I love my roundabout, but my son is only 22 months and weighs 39lbs. and he's also reached the max height which I forget what it was and he looks very snug in it that I wish I got the Marathon. Honestly I didn't think he would outgrow it so soon. If your looking for something that your baby would get more use in than I would recommend you try out the Britax Marathon.
