I recently registered for the Graco Snugride Infant carseat, but then I talked to someone in Buy Buy Baby who mentioned that the Britax was the only infant carseat that offered rear-end collision protection (there's a bar againset the back of the seat by the babies feet that prevents the carseat from bucking up and back if rear ended).

It's considerably more pricey, so I guess my question is would it be worth switching on my registry? I know my baby's safety is priceless, but why wouldn't all supposedly safe carseats offer this feature?
